Familiar to many as "Sanja-sama" ("Shrine of the Three Gods), this shrine is said to derive its nickname from the fact that it honors the three men who founded Sensoji, the brothers Hinokuma Hamanari and Hinokuma Takenari, and a third man named Hajino Nakatomo.
